An acronym for "This Is Serious, Mum", TISM is a fully anonymous (technically, pseudonymous) Australian alternative rock band. Their music is highlighted by satirical, occasionally insulting lyrics referencing both pop culture and classical literature. Due to their anonymous nature, they perform live in eccentric, face-concealing costumes. They also execute random, misleading antics on stage, including switching stages during a show and performing behind a theatrical showing of Hamlet.
