Nick Cave

Nicholas Edward Cave was born in Warracknabeal, Australia on September 22nd, 1957, son of a librarian and a teacher. He was raised an Anglican which explains the apparent influence of The Bible in his work. His education was begun at Caulfield Grammar School, Melbourne and then later, Art School (Art department of Caulfield Institute of Technology, now Monash University) which he attended only two years.

Formerly a member of Australian band Boys Next Door (better known as The Birthday Party), he's currently a member of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and Grinderman.
