D.R.I.
From Lyriki
D.R.I. (Dirty Rotten Imbeciles) were formed in 1982 in Houston, Texas (later relocated to San Francisco, California) and are one of the first "crossover thrash" bands. Their genre was coined from their third album Crossover. The band has not released any albums featuring new material since 1995's Full Speed Ahead, but they have been touring ever since. However, there was talk of a new release, but it never materialized. Recently, their longtime guitarist Spike Cassidy was diagnosed with colon cancer and the band is now on hold until his recovery.
